Event management for pilot Screentime

pilot Screentime, a sub-service provider of Hamburger Sparkasse (HaSPA), needed support with a digital solution to manage events and support its various branches. HaSPA was looking for a system that would allow branch staff to organize, configure and monitor events, while providing a user-friendly platform for participants to register.

The task

Laracraft was tasked with assisting in the development of an event calendar and content management system (CMS) that would serve as a central hub for HaSPA's branch-based events. The solution was to support the creation of events, registration of participants and the generation of reports and analytics for branch staff.

The implementation

The project was implemented in Laravel (Blade) and MySQL. The CMS enabled the branch employees to:

1. Event management: Each branch was able to create, customize and manage their own events via the CMS. This included details such as venue, date, time and maximum number of participants.
2. Event calendar: A central calendar was used to clearly display all the events of the various branches. Participants could register for events directly via the website and received confirmations and reminders.
3. Reports and analyses: Branch employees were given the option of accessing reports and analyses on the events held. This feature helped capture attendance, feedback and other relevant metrics to better plan future events.

The result

The application enables HaSPA to manage its events more efficiently. Branches benefit from a clear overview, giving them the ability to manage their events quickly and easily, while attendees can easily participate thanks to the intuitive login.

Laracraft assisted with a customized solution that greatly simplified HaSPA's internal processes while ensuring a seamless user experience for attendees.
